About me

Hello! My name is Gabe and I love making music and helping people make music. I’m originally from Chicago, where I grew up playing a variety of instruments before eventually deciding to study classical voice at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. Even though I was studying opera, I still had a love of Rock and Funk music and I played in bunch of different bands during my time at Berklee. I also began to develop a love of musical theater, and began studying that alongside opera. My love of different genres drives my performing and teaching to this day.

During my Bachelor’s degree, I was fortunate to study voice with Michael Hanley, who fostered my interest in voice pedagogy. I had the opportunity to take a pedagogy class with Kevin Wilson which furthered my interest even more. After graduating and teaching for a couple years, I decided to pursue a Master’s at NYU in Voice Performance with an advanced certificate in Voice Pedagogy. I’ve come to enjoy teaching as much as performing, and I am committed to helping my students achieve their vocal goals.
